# Live wait times for your AI assistant

ThemeParkie has a public MCP server. Connect your assistant to it and it can look the wait times up itself, without you having to open the site.

## The address

There is one URL, and you need no account or key to use it. You can only read from it.

## Connecting

Most clients ask only for a name and a URL.

### In Claude

Works on every plan, the free one included.

1. Go to Settings and then Connectors.
2. Click + and choose “Add custom connector”.
3. Paste the URL above and click Add.
4. In a conversation, switch it on with the + button, under Connectors.

### In ChatGPT

Turn on developer mode in your settings first. After that you can add the URL above as a connector. OpenAI moves that setting around regularly, so check their help page if you cannot find it.

There are three tools. Your assistant works out which one it needs. You just ask your question.

list_parks Every park ThemeParkie tracks, with the country, whether it is open, how many rides are running and how busy it is. get_park_waits The wait and status for every ride in one park. Where there is enough history, you also get the usual wait, so you can see whether you have caught a good moment. You can also narrow it to one kind of attraction, like roller coasters or everything suitable for young children. get_ride_history When to queue for one ride: the quietest moments of the day, the usual wait and the worst one, and how often the ride is actually running. All of it from the last six weeks. ## About the numbers

Wait times come straight from the park's own feed, so they are never fresher than that. Every answer has the time on it. If a park is closed or stops reporting for a while, the server says so. It will not make up a number.
